1st eMag 2024 on Adaptation in Europe
On March 28th, join us for the 1st eMag of 2024 on the role of sub-national levels in the planning and implementation of multi-level adaptation policies in Europe.
Climate Chance is launching a new cycle of eMags for 2024, focusing on two areas: climate action in Africa and adaptation in Europe. Each month, the eMag provides a space for sharing expertise, best practices and exchanges, based on the Observatory‘s analyses. Climate Chance is thus pursuing its mission of mobilising and working with a wide range of stakeholders on the major challenges of adapting to and mitigating climate change in Africa and Europe.
eMag #1 What role do sub-national levels play in the planning and implementation of multi-level adaptation policies in Europe?
This is the first time that Climate Chance is organising an eMag on adaptation policies in Europe, following on from the Climate Chance Europe Wallonia Summit held in early 2024, the first European event dedicated entirely to adaptation, which concluded with the adoption of the Liège Declaration.
The aim of this webinar is to present the Climate Chance Observatory’s new study, “Planning and implementing adaptation in the EU: State of multilevel integration of adaptation policies”, and to exchange views with representatives and experts from several European regions on the ways in which they are operationalising their adaptation plans.
