    Managing Director

    Contact

    International negotiations expert principally relating to climate change issues. International relations and environmental analyst for the State of Minas Gerais in Brasil, then co- founder of a sustainable development consulting firm in Brasil. Romain joined Climate Chance in order to increase his involvement in subjects linked to climate change action by non-state actors.

  • Anne RAIMAT

    Director of Biodiversity

    Contact

    Specialist in international issues and local authorities, Anne has been for more than 15 years Director of International Relations and Development in the public and private sectors. She managed numerous multi-actor, urban and environmental projects in Africa, India and South America. She joins the team in 2022 to develop a climate-biodiversity strategy for the association.

  • Virginie FOUCAULT-ROUGÉ

    Director of Communication

    Contact

    Virginie graduated from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Marketing, Communication and Media. With several years of professional experience in the private sector (media, advertising, consulting agencies and studies) and in the associative sector as a volunteer, she joined Climate Chance in March 2020. Convinced by the values promoted by the Socialy and Solidarity Economy, Virginie reinforces her commitment and brings her communication expertise to the association.

  • Nicolas JELANSKY

    Administrative & Financial Director

    Neoma Business School alumni, Nicolas has worked as a Chief Financial Officer for nonprofit organizations in the performing arts sector and for the International Union of Architects where he successfully organized several world events and promoted sustainable development strategies for the profession. He joins Climate Chance as CFO in September 2022.

  • Alice MALEK

    Director of Biodiversity Project

    Contact

    As an agricultural engineer specialising in international development, Alice has developed expertise in sustainable development, managing multi-actor and multi-scale programmes for non-state stakeholders, with experience of working with NGOs in West Africa. She is also a founding member of a national network promoting agro-ecology in Senegal through advocacy and support at the local level. Alice joins the association in September 2024.

  • Tania MARTHA THOMAS

    Coordinator of the Observatory

    Contact

    With a background in economics, sociology, and political science, Tania completed her studies in Environmental Policy at Sciences Po Paris. Her areas of interest include grassroots and local-led environmental action. She joined Climate Chance in 2020 for her master's internship, and has stayed on since, joining the Observatory full-time in 2022.

  • Mélaine Assè-Wassa SAMA

    Project Officer for Climate Action in Africa

    Mélaine holds a master’s degree in environmental law and policy and is currently preparing a PhD thesis on voluntary commitments in international environmental law at the University of La Rochelle and the University of Lomé (Togo). He joins Climate Chance in 2022 as Climate Action Project Officer in Africa.

  • Estelle METHENS

    Events Officer

    Contact

    Estelle graduated from HEC Paris with a degree in Environment and Social Innovation. Having developed an in-depth knowledge of sustainable development education matters, particularly during her time at UNESCO, she decided to channel her energy into a new project and joined the Climate Chance team in early 2024.

  • Souleymane CONDÉ

    Guinea Project Officer

    Contact

    Souleymane Condé holds a degree in Physical Geography and Environment from the UGLC, University of Sonfonia Conakry. He has worked on environmental and social impact assessments for various mining companies, chaired the "Association des Jeunes pour la Restauration", and was a project coordinator at Guinée Écologie. Since January 2024, he is Project Officer for the Guinea Biodiversity Corridor at Climate Chance.

  • Marion CASSINOT

    Project officer for Biodiversity corridor

    Contact

    Marion holds a Master's degree in European and International Project Engineering, and has worked with a range of organisations working in the field of solidarity and sustainable development. She has developed expertise in setting up and coordinating projects, multi-actor coordination and advocacy, particularly in West Africa. Marion joined the association in September 2024 as a VSI in charge of the Biodiversity Corridor project and is based in Conakry, Guinea.

  • Inès DIALLO

    Intern for network animation and events

    Contact

    Inès graduated from the Sorbonne with a degree in History and International Affairs, specialising in environmental history. After initial experience in communications and events at the Académie des sciences d'outre mer, she joined Climate Chance in September 2024, attracted by environmental issues in Europe and Africa.
