JPEC project: round-table discussions on Youth and the Climate
JPEC is an association that aims to inform and educate young populations in the Central African Republic on the impacts of climate change by organizing round-table discussions on Youth and the Climate.
Overview of the project
“Organisations from Central African Republic Civil Society” (“OSC”) must be well represented nationally and be well involved with the concerned actors witihin the process in order to develop common actions in the battle against climate change.
In this contexte, the NGO “Youth for Environmental Protection in the Central African Republic” (JPEC) organises round-table discussions every year in October.
The aim of this activity is to help:
- Facilitate exchanges between young people in the Central African Republic
- Develop a participative, effective and efficient approach which involves all NGO an association leaders, the private and public sector, in order to…
- Share their experiences on climate-related issues.
These activities are in the framework of contributions for national efforts to battle climate change as well as the consequences. Awareness campaigns, sharing information and strengthening communities capacities is all worked on by the organisation.
