Transformation of waste
BIO-ENERGY : a Cameroonian company that transforms organic and vegetable waste into biogas, biofertiliser and bioelectricity
Overview of the project
The project’s initiative begins with the sorting of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and then transforms the biodegradable waste into green energy (biogas) and organic fertilisers to boost agriculture and organic production. We can also transform this biogas into electricity to help solve the energy problems still plaguing our cities. The bio-energy company has therefore thought of bringing into play a technology that can improve the city of Douala’s rubbish management, because this fight is our priority.

Ongoing research
2/ 02 /2022 projet toujours en cours
The qualitative results, if the project is ever set up, will make the city healthier and the structure in charge of waste collection more productive by turning waste into green gold.
The qualitative results are the acceptance of people who want to take responsibility for sorting their waste before putting it back in the bin to be transformed into green energy.
At the moment we are still looking for funding.
