Overview of the project

Tukkijamm is much more than just a car-sharing platform. It’s a real social network for mobility, where users connect, share experiences and build a new way of getting around together. By creating geographically targeted carpooling clusters, Tukkijamm facilitates connections between people working in the same areas, such as Point E, Plateau or Diamniadio. Thanks to an intelligent algorithm, the platform suggests carpools that match each user’s criteria: schedules, itineraries, common interests.

Objective

Tukkijamm is a home-work carpooling platform in Senegal that offers employees an innovative solution for their business trips during rush hour. This platform is the “Linkedin of mobility” thanks to identified carpooling clusters (Point E VDN, Plateau, Almadies, Diamniadio, ZI Bel Air) that connect all employees working daily in these areas.

Quantitative results

By opting for Tukkijamm, our users are actively helping to reduce their carbon footprint and ease traffic congestion, especially in busy areas.

Qualitative results

Tukkijamm quickly won over Senegalese workers, particularly thanks to its relevance in areas with a high concentration of businesses. Today, we have a community of over 1,500 active employees on the platform, and we have already facilitated more than a hundred carpooling journeys, testifying to rapid adoption and a real need for alternative mobility solutions. These figures are encouraging and confirm the potential of our approach.

Financing

Personal financing and subsidy from ADEPME.
