Accra • Towards carbon neutrality by 2050
Accra's GHG emissions were about 2.57 MtCO2 in 2015, or less than one tonne per capita, well below the global average. The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has been involved in several city networks, since 2009 the C40 and more recently the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa.
