Helsinki • Major progress undermined by heating needs
With a 24% reduction in overall emissions in 2017 and a 42% reduction in emissions/capita from 1990 levels, Helsinki is on track to meet its 2020 target. In 2017, the city council thus voted on its objectives for the next four years, which are integrated into the strategy "The most functional city in the world".
