Tokyo • Hydrogen fuels the flame of the Tokyo Olympics
In 2017, Japan was one of the first countries to adopt a national hydrogen strategy in which mobility is the core concept. As of 2020, 116 hydrogen stations were already operational across Japan. In two years, the government has doubled its investment in hydrogen research and development to $300 million.
