The African continent is facing major challenges regarding the resilience of food production, reforestation and the preservation of biodiversity. In addition, agriculture plays a major role in Africa, as this sector occupies 60% of the population.
This eMag focuses on the contributions of the COP 15 Desertification as well as on the initiatives of non-state actors to protect biodiversity, forests and improve the agricultural and food autonomy of populations in Africa in order to answer the question: How to address the issues of forests, agriculture, food and biodiversity through ecological connectivity?
