International conference ” Re-enchanting cities: urban planning in French-speaking countries, horizon 2050 “
To coincide with the XIXth Summit of the Francophonie in October, the International Association of French-Speaking Mayors (AIMF), in partnership with the Association for the Promotion of Teaching and Research in Town and Country Planning (APERAU) and the City of Paris, is organising an International Conference on Town and Country Planning
This international conference will bring together mayors, experts, researchers and academics, students of urban planning and architecture, and young professionals (architects, urban planners, economists). The debates, organised into 4 round tables, will focus on the future of cities in the face of the challenges of transition. They will look at their spatial organisation and their relationship with States, their social dynamics, their relationship with the environment, their governance, etc. During the event, the winning students of the Call for Projects ‘What shape will cities take in 2050? will be rewarded and will exhibit their posters. Young professionals from the urban fabric associated with the event will also be on hand to present their arguments.
