The call for contributions campaign for the Pitch Corner at the Climate Chance Europe-Africa 2025 Summit is now closed. A big thank you to everyone for your numerous contributions!
What is the Pitch Corner?
The Pitch Corner is a unique space, at the heart of the event, allowing project leaders to present their initiatives for 15 minutes as part of the Climate Chance Europe Africa Summit 2025, on March 31st and April 1st 2025.
By participating, you contribute to:
- Strengthen multi-stakeholder mobilization in the various areas of climate action, and more specifically adaptation, by sharing your experiences, successes and difficulties encountered.
- Enrich the programme of the Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Summit with initiatives that will have the opportunity to be presented at the Pitch Corner. The Pitch Corner takes place at the heart of the event and provides visibility for players carrying remarkable projects or initiatives.
- Feed the Cartography of action and highlight the remarkable initiatives taking place in Europe and Africa.
You can participate under the following conditions:
- Be a non-state actor: local authorities and communities, businesses, associations, trade unions, professional federations, non-governmental organisations, scientific bodies, donors, citizens involved in climate action in Europe or Africa, youth and women’s organisations, farmers’ organisations, etc;
- Have a project taking place on the European or African continent.
- Have an innovative project ongoing that can be replicated on the largest scale on one of the following themes :
- Adaptation to climate change in Europe: Agriculture – Food, Biodiversity – Forests – Land use, Water, Education – Training, Renewable energies, Climate financing, International cooperation, Habitat – Sustainable construction, Mobility – Sustainable transport, Oceans – Coastline, Planning – Territorial development – Sustainable cities, Multi-level governance.
- Cooperation, particularly decentralised cooperation, between Europe and Africa on adaptation.
Please note: the selected contributors for the Pitch Corner are responsible for their registration for the Climate Chance Europe Africa Summit 2025, as well as their travel and accommodation expenses.
