What is the Pitch Corner?

The Pitch Corner is a unique space, at the heart of the event, allowing project leaders to present their initiatives for 15 minutes as part of the Climate Chance Europe Africa Summit 2025, on March 31st and April 1st 2025.

Why participate?

• Strengthen multi-stakeholder mobilization in the various areas of climate action, and more specifically adaptation, by sharing your experiences, successes and difficulties encountered.
• Enrich the programme of the Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Summit with initiatives that will have the opportunity to be presented at the Pitch Corner. The Pitch Corner takes place at the heart of the event and provides visibility for players carrying remarkable projects or initiatives.
• Feed the Cartography of action and highlight the remarkable initiatives taking place in Europe and Africa.

What are the criteria to participate?

1. Be a non-state actor: local authorities and communities, businesses, associations, trade unions, professional federations, non-governmental organisations, scientific bodies, donors, citizens involved in climate action in Europe or Africa, youth and women’s organisations, farmers’ organisations, etc;
2. Have a project taking place on the European or African continent.
3. Have an innovative project ongoing that can be replicated on the largest scale on one of the following themes :
   1. Adaptation to climate change in Europe: Agriculture – Food, Biodiversity – Forests – Land use, Water, Education – Training, Renewable energies, Climate financing, International cooperation, Habitat – Sustainable construction, Mobility – Sustainable transport, Oceans – Coastline, Planning – Territorial development – Sustainable cities, Multi-level governance.
   2. Cooperation, particularly decentralised cooperation, between Europe and Africa on adaptation.

The call for contributions campaign is now open: don’t delay in submitting your projects!

We’re calling on you, the actors committed to adapting to climate change in Europe and to Europe/Africa cooperation on adaptation, to share your initiatives and innovations at the next Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Marseille Summit!

• The aim of this call for contributions is to identify best, innovative practices that can be replicated on the largest possible scale in Europe and Africa.
• If you are a local authority, a company, an association, a trade union, a scientific body, a youth or women’s organisation, a farmers’ organisation, an educator or a citizen, submit your climate action and cooperation project and join our global climate action community!

Please note: contributors are responsible for registering for the Climate Chance Europe Africa Summit 2025 and for their travel and accommodation expenses.
