What is the Pitch Corner?
The Pitch Corner is a unique space, at the heart of the event, allowing project leaders to present their initiatives for 15 minutes as part of the Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Marseille Summit, on March 31st and April 1st 2025.
Why participate?
- Strengthen multi-stakeholder mobilization in the various areas of climate action, and more specifically adaptation, by sharing your experiences, successes and difficulties encountered.
- Enrich the programme of the Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Summit with initiatives that will have the opportunity to be presented at the Pitch Corner. The Pitch Corner takes place at the heart of the event and provides visibility for players carrying remarkable projects or initiatives.
- Feed the Cartography of action and highlight the remarkable initiatives taking place in Europe and Africa.
What are the criteria to participate?
- Be a non-state actor: local communities and authorities, companies, associations, trade unions, professional federations, non-governmental organizations, scientific bodies, donors, citizens committed to climate action in Europe, youth and women’s organizations, farmers’ organizations, etc.
- Have a project taking place on the European or African continent.
- Have an ongoing project on one of the following themes, preferably linked to adaptation to climate change: Agriculture – Food, Biodiversity – Forests – Land use, Water, Education – Training, Renewable energies, Climate financing, International cooperation, Habitat – Sustainable construction, Mobility – Sustainable transport, Oceans – Coastline, Planning – Territorial development – Sustainable cities, Multi-level governance.
In the run-up to the Summit, an extensive call for contributions was launched
We’re calling on you – players committed to adapting to climate change within the European Union – to share your initiatives and innovations at the upcoming Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Marseille Summit!
- The aim of this call for contributions is to identify innovative best practices that can be replicated on the largest scale in Europe.
- If you are a local authority, a company, an association, a trade union, a scientific body, a youth or women’s organization, a farmers’ organization, an educator or a citizen, submit your climate action project and join our global climate action community!
