Discover the Journal of Best Practices for Climate in Africa N°1
A compilation of projects presented at the #SCCA2022 Pitch Corner
What is the Pitch Corner?
Climate Chance has launched, ahead of the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2022 in Dakar, Senegal, a call for contributions from non-state actors engaged in the fight against climate change in Africa. The objective is to identify solutions and best practices that can be replicated on a large scale in Africa.
This call for contributions, greatly supported, was addressed to all actors of the regions engaged in the fight against climate change, eager to share their initiatives and innovations that can be replicated on a large scale in Africa and on a global scale.
More than 200 projects were received! Nearly 60 projects were selected, among the most innovative, and presented during the Pitch Corner at the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2022.
The Pitch Corner is a unique space for project leaders to present their « best practices » in terms of climate action. During the 4th Climate Chance Summit – Africa, from October 4th to 6th, each project leader had the opportunity to « pitch » or present their solution in 10 minutes. The pitch brought together a diverse panel of climate action actors from all over Africa.
