[REPLAY] Adaptation Policies in Europe
eMag of 28.03.24, watch the replay and consult the magazine on adaptation policies in Europe.
eMag #1 What role do sub-national levels play in the planning and implementation of multi-level adaptation policies in Europe?
Today, adaptation to climate change is becoming an urgent challenge in the European Union (EU). For the planning and implementation of adaptation actions, the EU has a framework that integrates the European, national, regional and local levels.
What role do sub-national levels play in this European framework?
This is the first time that Climate Chance is organising an eMag around adaptation issues in Europe. This follows the Climate Chance Europe Summit held in early 2024, marking the first European event dedicated entirely to adaptation, and which concluded with the Liège Declaration.
The aim of this eMag is to present the latest publication of the Climate Chance Observatory entitled « Planning and implementing adaptation in the EU: State of multilevel integration of adaptation policies », and to exchange views with different European regions and cities on the ways in which they are operationalising their adaptation plans.
