10th European Summit of Regions and Cities
Mons, Belgium
Climate Chance will participate at the 10th European Summit of Regions and Cities
On the occasion of its tenth edition, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the European Committee of the Regions, this Summit addresses topics that are at the heart of the concerns of regions and cities, such as democracy, sustainable development, the future of the European Union and its enlargement, the need to ensure social, economic and territorial cohesion, and the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Global challenges will be addressed by bringing together different perspectives from all over the world.
The summit takes place in Mons, in the Walloon region of Belgium, at the heart of Europe. It is organised by the European Committee of the Regions and the Walloon Region, in association with the City of Mons.
It’s an opportunity for Climate Chance to continue its advocacy work, widely supported by non-state actors in Europe, which began at the Climate Chance Europe 2024 Wallonia Summit with the Liège Declaration on adaptation to climate change.
Climate Chance will have a dedicated stand on both days to promote the Liège Declaration and the Association’s activities.
