Dunkerque, France
Climate Chance is organising a side-event during the Conference.
The Assises Européennes de la Transition Energétique is an annual event for all those involved in regional energy transition.
This year, it’s 3 days of meetings, exchanges, inspiration and collective success for the regional energy transition! The programme is made up of over 130 events, including plenary sessions, round tables, interviews, testimonials, workshops and site visits, to meet, exchange and share ideas.
Side-event Organised by Climate Chance
Climate Chance is organising a side event at the 25th AETE, « Building resilience through nature-based solutions: How are cities adapting to climate change? ».
What role can nature-based solutions play in local transitions? What are the levers for successful implementation? Drawing inspiration from the Climate Chance Europe Summit held in Liège in February 2024 and the lessons learned from the Climate Chance Observatory on the advances implemented in Europe in terms of adaptation, local players from various European cities will present exemplary projects that have used nature-based solutions to improve urban resilience to climate change, but also to the interconnected crises of biodiversity, water and health.
⏰ Wednesday 11th September, 2024, 2PM – 3PM (CEST)
📍 Salle Alexandre, Dunkerque Kursaal – Palais des Congrès, Dunkirk
Moderator
- Tania Martha Thomas, Research Officer, Climate Chance
