Presentation of the Observatory’s Global Synthesis Report on Climate Action by Sector 2022
Webinar, Online
Climate Chance is hosting an online event to present the Global Synthesis Report on climate action by sector 2022.
« We focus on what is happening on the ground. This report is completely reliable today on the international scene: it allows us to rationalize the debate ».
Ronan Dantec, Senator of Pays de la Loire, President of the Climate Chance Association

Climate Chance is organising an event to present the Global Synthesis Report on Climate Action 2022
For the past four years, the Climate Chance Observatory has been publishing this reference report, presented each year at the COP, which provides a unique global overview of the actions effectively carried out by the various non-state actors in the main emission sectors: energy, transport, construction, industry, waste and land use.
Summary
The year 2022 saw a recovery in GHG emissions, more or less rapid depending on the sector and region, to their pre-pandemic level. In an international environment marked by geopolitical tensions and increasingly intense global warming, actors are faced with short-term imperatives that highlight the dilemmas and contradictions of the low-carbon transition. It is in this context that the Observatory proposes to analyse the trends and signals of climate action.
This webinar, based on the new edition of the Global Synthesis Report on Climate Action by Sector, published by Climate Chance, proposes to explore the evolution of climate action by cities, businesses and civil society in this new context.

-
- A transition under geopolitical and climate constraints
-
- Sectoral transition trends
- Questions/Answers
