Important update – #SMDC2021 postponed
Due to the worsening of the health situation linked to Covid19, around the world, the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2021, initially scheduled for 13 to 17 September in Dakar, has been postponed to September 2022.
Due to the worsening of the health situation linked to Covid19, around the world, the Week for Sustainable Mobility and Climate 2021, initially scheduled for 13 to 17 September in Dakar, has been postponed to September 2022.
While we are deeply saddened to have come to this decision, it remains necessary to preserve the health of all people involved and the quality of the conference.
The #SMDC2022, a real « Pre-COP » for African actors, will be part of the international climate agenda, ahead of COP27 which will also take place on the African continent.
Remaining in September 2021, in virtual format:
- On 16 September High-level exchanges during a joint plenary session of the three partners CODATU, CETUD and Climate Chance, focusing on the presentation of the sustainable mobility and climate issues of the Dakar Declaration
- From 15 to 17 September, the 3rd Climate Chance Summit Africa
- On 15 September the « Club des Autorités Organisatrices de la mobilité » CODATU / on 16 September the « Club Affaire » de CODATU and the constitutive meeting of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Network of Higher Education and Research Institutions (AUF)
