Je m’engage pour l’Afrique (JMA) : Climate Chance Presentation
On June 15 at 6pm CEST, Mélaine Assè-Wassa Sama ,Project Officer for Climate Action in Africa, will speak at the Je m'engage pour l'Afrique (JMA) training program to highlight Climate Chance's activities and its role in supporting African civil society to build sustainable cities.
Mélaine Assè-Wassa Sama’s participation in the Je m’engage pour l’Afrique (JMA) program
Today at 6pm (CEST), Mélaine Assè-Wassa Sama, Project Officer for Climate Action in Africa, will be speaking at the Je m’engage pour l’Afrique (JMA) program, the 1st incubator for citizen-based public policies to transform the relationship between Europe and Africa and the African continent, to highlight the activities of Climate Chance and its role in supporting African civil society in building sustainable cities.
This training and ideation program seeks to rethink the attractiveness of African cities by focusing on four key areas:
- « Living » for successful urban industrialization
- « Receiving » for the development of tourism and sustainable housing,
- « Getting around » to promote clean, sustainable mobility
- « Reinventing » for more sustainable, better-connected urban governance.
Currently, 20 Residents are taking this training course, with the aim of proposing concrete, applicable public policy recommendations.
