During the #ABIDJAN2022 event, Climate Chance announced the launch of the Observatory for climate action in Africa:
- A regional variation of the methodology applied by the non-state climate action Observatory at the specific scale of non-state actors on the African continent.
- A research and writing structure dedicated to the publication of analyses on climate action in Africa.
The objectives of the Africa Observatory
- Analyse the implementation of African non-state actors’ commitments and African good practices in the field of climate and biodiversity.
- Mobilise African communities of expertise on climate.
- Produce specific studies to provide keys to understanding climate action in Africa.
- Develop projects in partnership with other actors.
