Progress on the demonstrator project launched in Guinea
The demonstrator project launched in Guinea by the Climate Chance association is designed to strengthen ecological connectivity between the national parks of Middle Guinea.
In July, the partner association Guinée Ecologie began a ground-truthing phase aimed at refining the corridor mapping work and confirming the presence of chimpanzees in the area.
A mission report, helping to obtain precise and reliable data, essential for defining the Badiar/Lébékéré-PNMB-Paysage OKKPS experimental corridor, provides a solid basis for planning future actions in favour of biodiversity in Guinea.
This first field mission is therefore a pivotal moment in the project.
