The discussion groups are an essential opportunity to foster exchanges between non-state actors around the specific topics of the Adaptation and Water Coalition’s roadmap.
- Group 1 – French – Water Security and Sanitation :
Building resilience and adaptive capacity to climate change and natural disasters:

- Make water resource management a top priority for climate change adaptation
- Strengthen knowledge to improve understanding of climate change impacts and better design adaptation measures
- Accelerate the implementation and financing of no-regrets climate adaptation actions that build capacity and balance green (nature-based solutions) and grey infrastructure
- Group 2 – English – Water Security and Sanitation
- Group 3 – French – Rural Development:
- In a sustainable way, ensure at the same time the sustainability of food systems, water resources management, climate change mitigation and biodiversity protection
