Opening session of CoM SSA day – Financing climate and multi-level governance

This session will aim to:

• Advocate for better access to climate finance at the level of local authorities in Africa
• Strengthen multi-level governance for the implementation of international climate change objectives
• Take into account the local and regional levels in the definition of the NDCs and the objectives of the COP26
• Anchor the CoM SSA initiative in Sub-Saharan Africa with relevant actors (including civil society and the private sector).
