Mobility is a powerful factor of empowerment, but it can also be an important factor of social and economic exclusion. This session seeks to highlight gender issues in the transport and mobility sector through an academic and operational lense and what initiatives can be taken to address them in the North and South, relying heavily on the local context and its resources.
