Joint Opening Plenary with the FPEU Conference- From Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh, from the European Green Deal to Local Climate Action: Towards a New Dynamic?

Joint Opening Plenary with the FPEU Conference- From Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh, from the European Green Deal to Local Climate Action: Towards a New Dynamic?

A few months after Glasgow, this plenary session will be an opportunity for a multi-level dialogue between representatives of the UNFCCC, representatives of European and State institutions and local actors, local governments, businesses, associations, and more.

It will be an opportunity to highlight the importance of bringing concrete actions by stakeholders to the forefront of discussions, whether it be on the rapid reassessment of States’ commitments, decided by COP26, or on the implementation of European policies to reduce CO2 emissions (Fit for 55), as well as the implementation of the European Green Deal at a local.
