Description
The session on « Resilient Food Systems » began with a global overview of the challenges that our food systems face in becoming more resilient in economic, environmental and social terms. To meet these challenges, tools need to be put in place to guide the transition of our food systems. A number of tools were discussed in this session:
- The implementation of the European « farm to fork » strategy: progress, failures and challenges.
- Public procurement to strengthen the resilience of our regions: towards a new framework?
- Walloon food system policy: the main achievements to strengthen the regional food system resilience
