Climate Chance Europe Africa 2025 Summit

Sharing water and avoiding conflict

Description

Increasing droughts, growing pressure on water resources, and its central importance for cities, agriculture, industry and biodiversity: water has become a major strategic issue. How can we ensure both the preservation of this vital resource and its fair access? Coordinated management, innovative solutions, and cross-border governance—what tools can help prevent conflicts and ensure the sustainable sharing of water?

This workshop will bring together experts, policymakers, and local stakeholders in order to explore solutions to one of the key challenges of climate adaptation.
