Strengthening the resilience of local food systems
Description
The current crises are exposing the flaws of the agro-industrial model, with its environmental, social, and geopolitical costs becoming more evident. Meanwhile, local initiatives focused on re-localizing food production, creating fair economic models, and supporting communities in their pursuit of healthy, sustainable food are gaining momentum. Can these efforts lay the foundation for a new food system?
By collaborating, can local actors foster a more equitable concept of food sovereignty, both in the Global North and South?
